Dave is a Pastor at Saddleback Church and Director of Strategic Relationships for the PEACE Plan.
Dave has served the Church and its many Purpose Driven programs since 2003. Before joining PEACE he was Saddleback’s Executive Pastor of Operations and COO, where he helped lead the completion of a $50 million capital expansion. Dave previously served as VP of Global Operations for Purpose Driven.
Prior to ministry, Dave worked as a medical product manufacturing and operations executive. For more than 25 years he assisted early stage companies develop growth strategies and measurably improved their organization, profits, and operational efficiencies. Dave led several business turn-arounds including a successful IPO post Chapter 11 reorganization. He was responsible for a national acquisition roll up and merger with an S&P 500 company.
Dave’s education includes an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BS in Economics and Business Administration from Wagner College. He also holds a Masters Degree in Ministry from Rockbridge Seminary.
Dave has served on the board of directors several public, private and non-profit organizations and ministries.
Dave has been married to his wife Katie for 26 years and has two children (one living). He enjoys motorcycles, flying, skiing, water sports, and reading in his limited spare time.
