Duane has served in a variety of management and leadership roles in both non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses. He began his business career over 35 years ago and has held a variety of positions with major corporations starting in sales and advancing to various management positions with responsibility for divisional sales of $4.5 million as well as branch management. For the last 20 years he has provided leadership for a variety of non-profit organizations and has been involved in board leadership, team building, leadership and organizational development, staff relations, conflict resolution, training and assessments in a variety of cross-cultural environments as well.
Duane has served in a leadership role at DOVE Christian Fellowship for 15 years and the last 13 years as Senior Pastor of DOVE Christian Fellowship Westgate Celebration, a congregation of DOVE Christian Fellowship International (DCFI)—an international family of small group-based churches with its international headquarters in Lititz, Pennsylvania. He also serves on a team that gives oversight to the churches in both Latin and South Americas.
Duane was called into ministry shortly after he rededicated his life to the Lord in 1975 and entered seminary. He has been involved in some area of ministry ever since. His blend of gifting includes those of teacher, worship leader, administrator, and counselor. He is a conference and seminar speaker on topics pertaining to leadership development, men issues, and other subjects related to Christian development. As a team with his wife, they speak on marital and family issues and relationships. Duane has a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling Psychology. He is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). He has served as a marriage and family counselor and has been trained and certified to use a variety of psychological assessment tools. He is also a certified Level Two Critical Incident Counselor and serves on a variety of CISM teams especially to the area of Law Enforcement.
With a heart for unity and reconciliation in America and abroad, he has been instrumental in bringing denominational and cross-cultural groups together to accomplish joint outreaches and projects. His past ministry experience includes pioneering an inner-city ministry and church, teaching overseas and served as missionary to Kenya.
Duane and his wife Reyna have been married for 32 years and have three children and five grandchildren. They make their home in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
