Scott became senior pastor at First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena, "PazNaz," in April, 2006. Most recently Scott was the senior pastor at Richardson Church of the Nazarene outside of Dallas, Texas. Before that
he was a theology professor at Southern Nazarene University.
Scott has a Ph.D. in Theology and Ethics from Fuller Seminary and is a gifted speaker and writer. He is married to Debbie and they have four children: Caleb, Noah, Jonah, and Sophie.
Coming to First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena is a homecoming of sorts for the Daniels because Scott was the pastor of college ministries at "PazNaz" from 1992 to 1996.
