As an Executive Pastor, he launched XPastor.org to help churches in America better understand and handle leadership issues. Now, XPastor is helping churches around the globe.
David served for twenty-three years at a church in Dallas and now serves as an XP in Austin, Texas. He is certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis. David has been trained in conflict resolution, mediation and arbitration by Peacemaker Ministries. He has been on the board of the American Council of the Asian Christian Academy since 1991.
David is the Director of the Doctor of Ministries Program and professor at the Evangelical Theological Seminary of India. He is also the facilitator of the XP/AP track of the D.Min. Program and adjunct professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. In his academic roles, he teaches XPastor concepts to Doctor of Ministry students.
XPastor.org began as a site for David's XP-Indicator and a few articles from David's research on Executive Pastors. More articles were added and visitors increased. Soon, thousands of visitors were coming each month. The goal of XPastor is to freely provide as much information as possible, with a few paid events to cover costs. XPastor.org now has hundreds of pages of documents and tons of megabytes downloaded each month.
David and his wife, Tami, love to bicycle in the hill country of Texas.
