Converted in 1979, Tim Pollard now serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for Peacemaker Ministries, www.peacemaker.net. He is responsible for helping to bring biblical peacemaking to the church in the United States. Tim also serves various Christian ministries as an advisor on strategy, through an organization named 'Ministrat.'
Tim's primary goal is to help Peacemaker Ministries (and other organizations) convert their mission and vision into more effective strategies. In that context he has also worked extensively on the issue of when Christian organizations should (and more importantly should not) apply commercial principles of marketing, strategy and general management to their Kingdom work.
His professional background is in the commercial world, and most recently Tim served as Executive Director of a US consulting firm. He helped fortune 500 companies execute commercial best practices in the area of strategy and marketing.
He is a sought-after conference and seminar speaker with a unique ability to engage audiences with his dynamic style (and amusing British accent).
Tim and his wife, Ruth, live in Billings with their four children, now attending a small Baptist church. He is passionate about the gospel, the local church, men's ministry, and fly-fishing.
