XPastor's unique format combines nationally known authors, the most current thinking in church leadership, and pastors from cutting-edge churches.
No one has the mix of thought and practice that XPastor offers. Now in its 8th year, the XP-Seminar brings together Executive Pastors and Senior Pastors from around North America. Two afternoons of workshops! The workshop leaders are church leaders who speak from their areas of expertise. They talk to you as "one skilled leader to another."
XPastor has been tracking the exponential growth of Grace Community Church of Washingtonville, New York. Jarrod Jones is their new Lead Pastor. The 2012 Seminar will feature a two-part case study and Jarrod will also present his ministry vision.
From the title of a recent sermon series, Jarrod has a clear vision for the future, based on the truth of the Scriptures. Jarrod Jones became the Lead Pastor of Grace Community in 2009. Grace is a 28 year-old church whose founding pastor recently transitioned to ministry work in Florida.
Within a year of Jarrod becoming the Lead Pastor, Grace Community had grown 50% to over 1,000 people in worship. The question was, with a worship center that sat 390 people, and the church already holding three worship services, how should they expand? The church has added services and is looking at multi-site, and it is still growing rapidly.
We will have a case-study on the church. Then, Jarrod will share his vision for the church and ministry.
Nicholas Smith began ministry as one of the youngest XPs in the nation. Bishop David Evans of Bethany Baptist Church of Lindenwold, New Jersey, hand-picked Nicholas to be his long-term successor in ministry. Bethany Baptist is a mega-mega church, with over 20,000 members.
