Executive Pastor

welcome

Browncroft Community Church
Rochester, New York

Opportunity Profile

Browncroft Community Church (BCC), a non‐denominational congregation located in suburban Rochester, New York, is searching for an Executive Pastor. The candidate should be someone of mature Christian character and proven leadership skills. He will serve as the primary partner of the Senior Pastor and be responsible for organizational planning and oversight, as well as supervision and development of staff.

Church History

Browncroft Community Church was founded as Brighton Community Church in 1922. In 1932 the church decided to set aside the second Sunday of every month as “Missionary Sunday,” and this tradition continues today. In 1955 ground was broken for a new sanctuary which allowed the growth of the church to continue. In 1980 an elementary school was purchased and converted into the new home of Browncroft Community Church in Penfield, New York, which is the present location of the Church. The congregation originally worshiped in the gym. A worship center seating 800 people was completed in 1991.

After an intensive and prayerful search Pastor Rob Cattalani became BCC’s fifth Senior Pastor in February 2005. Prior to joining the staff at BCC, Pastor Rob ministered at Fellowship Bible in Dallas, TX filling various roles including Pastor of Missions.

Our Church Today

BCC serves suburban Rochester, NY. Our 70,500 square foot facility is housed on a 34 acre campus. We have approximately 1,300 adults attending our two Sunday morning services. We have a strong family ministry with over 400 children attending our Sunday morning Kidz Campus and 200 teens in our youth program.

Our annual budget is just over $2 million dollars with $500,000 designated for missions. We are served by 33 paid staff members of which 12 are full‐time and 21 are part‐time. Missions, youth and children’s ministries have been traditional strengths of BCC and in the last few years we have increased our commitment to the city of Rochester.

BCC’s mission is helping people become more fully devoted followers of Christ. BCC acknowledges this is a life‐long journey and uses three important words to shape all ministries of the church:
